Hawaii conducts all elections by mail — every registered voter automatically receives a ballot. Voter Service Centers offer same-day registration and in-person voting.

Early voting
Voter Service Centers open 10 business days before Election Day for in-person voting and same-day registration.
Absentee / mail-in
All registered voters are automatically mailed a ballot. Ballot must be received by 7:00 PM Election Day.
ID requirements
ID required for in-person registration or voting at a Voter Service Center.
Election Day hours
Voter Service Centers open 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Hawaii Time on Election Day.
