Registration deadline
10 days before Election Day.
Early voting
In-person early voting begins the 11th day before a general election (Saturday two weeks before) through the Friday before.
Absentee / mail-in
Mail ballot application must be received by 4 business days before Election Day. Ballot must be postmarked by Election Day and received by 5:00 PM the third day after.
ID requirements
Generally no ID required at the polls. ID may be requested for first-time voters or to vote provisionally.
Election Day hours
Polls open 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern Time. If you are in line at 8:00 PM, you can vote.
